Week 9: PROJECT 2B: Poster Design

Process:

Concept art for poster.

Creating an  at home studio to take pictures of the apples.

Using Lightroom to color adjust the image to my liking.

Using AI in Photoshop to extend the image before exporting to Illustrator.

Typography I designed on Illustrator I-Pad that I later on scrapped for being to busy.

Changed the typography  to something simple to match the 'vibe' and added a boarder.

Final poster:

Description: This poster using apples for a metaphor as people symbolizing how regardless of the color of our skin we are all human and she be treated equally.

Week 10: 1. Write a biography about yourself

INTRO

I am Stephanie Lebon, 18 years old, and I'm from the Seychelles island. I chose creative media because my favorite things to do are consume and create.

PARAGRAPH 1

I was brought up in a house with my mom, dad and 2 brothers back home in Seychelles ever since I was little I loved watching movies and series, I loved drawing and over time I have had a massive collection of Legos that I ended a breaking and modifying the sets in the instructions to create my own creations.

PARAGRAPH 2

As I grew older I still loved consuming and creating id always watch You tube, play games and art was my favorite subject in high school.

SUMMARY

All my life I enjoyed creating and consuming since I was little until today.

2. Write a statement about your work

INTRO

I want this project to be based of CONSUMING to CREATE.

PARAGRAPH 1

Consuming is filling one’s mind with information and it links to creating cause that absorption of information allows you to create new ideas and concepts. In this project I want to show  the the link by showing the transitions, processes, purposes and relationships

PARAGRAPH 2

I want to include a screen either as a old tv or holographic display showing the consumption than i am creating my own art.

I will be sitting at a table.

SUMMARY

My composition will consist of me creating something , an imaginary screen and a matching background.

Week 12: FINAL POSTER (WEEK 12)

FINAL POSTER

TITLE: CONSUME TO CREATE.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

To symbolize consuming I used a TV and straws as you consume content on TVs and consume liquids using a straw. To symbolize creating I took a photo of myself posing as if i am about to draw on my I Pad.

The whole idea of this poster is to symbolize my idea of the connection of  consuming to creating in my own art style using a mix of photography, drawing, and collaging.
